You might just recognize this adorable couple since I photographed their proposal, their pumpkin head shoot, and Celeste’s graduation photos. You might also recognize them because this is my son and soon-to-be daughter-in-law.
I photographed their wedding proposal on a very cold day in December. Since it was only 37 degrees out we all agreed to do more engagement photos when the weather was warmer.
Judah and Celeste met at a birthday party for Judah’s sister, Kalina. Kalina and Celeste met while they were both attending Whatcom Community College and became quick friends. Judah came up from Trooper Basic where he was training to be a Washington State Patrol officer. After the party, Judah and Celeste began chatting online.
And the rest is, as they say, history.

We spent a fun afternoon walking around Fairhaven, one of their favorite date spots. I love doing photo shoots in Fairhaven because there are so many cute spots for photos. All you need to do is use your imagination.
This is one of my favorite spots to take photos in Fairhaven. It gives off California vibes with the palm trees.
No visit to Fairhaven is complete without visiting the Dirty Dan Harris statue outside of the Colophon Cafe. Dirty Dan Harris founded Fairhaven in 1883.
